Bring home the beauty and spiritual charm of Frangipani (Plumeria), a tropical tree known for its vibrant, fragrant flowers. Grown in our family-run biodiversity garden near Trichy, Tamil Nadu for over 30 years, Frangipani is easy to grow, thrives in warm climates, and is ideal for gardens, rituals, and sacred spaces. Revered for both its stunning appearance and medicinal uses, our cuttings are propagated naturally to help you raise your own flowering tree at home.
🌱 What you'll receive
One healthy, naturally-propagated Frangipani cutting (a semi-hardwood stem) in your chosen variety. Frangipani is grown from cuttings, so it arrives without roots — this is completely normal and is exactly how this plant is meant to be propagated. A little dryness or wrinkling of the stem on arrival is natural and does not affect rooting. Frangipani is one of the easiest plants to root, and with the simple steps below your cutting will establish in just a few weeks.
🪴 How to grow it (4 easy steps)
Let the cut end dry/callus for 2–3 days in shade before planting.
Fill a pot with well-draining potting mix (add sand or cocopeat) and plant the cutting 2–3 inches deep.
Place the pot in a warm, sunny spot and water sparingly — too much water is the only thing that harms a frangipani cutting.
Roots form in roughly 3–6 weeks. Once established, your plant typically begins flowering within 1–2 seasons.
🚚 Shipping & care
Orders are dispatched within 24 hours and carefully packed for transit. Flat ₹79 shipping across India. If your cutting arrives damaged, message us with a photo within 48 hours of delivery and we'll make it right.
❓ Frequently asked questions
Will a cutting with no roots really grow?
Yes. Frangipani (Plumeria) is one of the easiest plants in the world to grow from cuttings — that's how it's traditionally propagated. Follow the 4 steps above and roots typically form in 3–6 weeks.
My cutting looks dry or wrinkled — is it dead?
No. Frangipani stems store water and naturally look a little dry or wrinkled in transit. This does not affect rooting. Plant it as directed and it will plump up as it establishes.
How long until it flowers?
Once the cutting has rooted and established, it usually begins flowering within 1–2 growing seasons, depending on climate and care.
Can I grow it in a pot or indoors?
Yes — use a pot with well-draining mix. Frangipani needs plenty of direct sunlight, so keep it in your sunniest spot (a balcony or terrace is ideal).
Which variety should I choose?
All 11 varieties grow exactly the same way — they differ only in flower colour. Pick the bloom you love most from the variety images above.
Will it survive shipping?
Frangipani cuttings travel very well because they're shipped in a semi-dormant state. Orders dispatch within 24 hours, carefully packed. If anything arrives damaged, send us a photo within 48 hours and we'll make it right.
1. Fill a pot with a well-draining potting mix and insert the cutting about 10 cm deep into the soil. Water the cutting lightly to settle the soil. 2.Place the pot in a warm, sunny location, but protect it from direct sunlight for the first few weeks. 3.Water the cutting sparingly, only when the soil feels dry to the touch. Overwatering can lead to root rot and kill the cutting. 4. Once the cutting has developed roots and new growth, it can be transplanted to its permanent location in a well-drained soil and a sunny location.

FAQs
Why do you use charcoal in your incense? Is it harmful?
Pure charcoal burns cleaner than wood dust as it has already undergone carbonization. It doesn’t release tars or acidic gases like untreated wood. When not mixed with chemical enhancers, charcoal helps reflect the true fragrance of oils and herbs.
Why does my sambrani stick sometimes stop burning?
Ensure the stick catches fire properly. Let it burn for 10–15 seconds before blowing out the flame so the resin heats up enough to stay lit.
Can incense be therapeutic?
Yes. Natural incense purifies the air and affects the brain’s emotional center through scent, influencing mood, memory, and stress levels.
Why was PremaNature started?
