Yes 🌸. PremaNature incense is made from 100% natural ingredients - herbs, resins, essential oils, bark powders, and sacred theertham-infused water. We never use charcoal tablets, synthetic perfumes, or harmful chemicals. Every stick is hand-rolled by women artisans, carrying purity, devotion, and the essence of nature - incense, as it was meant to be. (Read more)
Why do you use charcoal in your incense? Is it harmful?
Pure charcoal burns cleaner than wood dust as it has already undergone carbonization. It doesn’t release tars or acidic gases like untreated wood. When not mixed with chemical enhancers, charcoal helps reflect the true fragrance of oils and herbs. (Read more)
Why does my sambrani stick sometimes stop burning?
Ensure the stick catches fire properly. Let it burn for 10–15 seconds before blowing out the flame so the resin heats up enough to stay lit.
Can incense be therapeutic?
Yes. Natural incense purifies the air and affects the brain’s emotional center through scent, influencing mood, memory, and stress levels.
Why was PremaNature started?
To promote natural, traditional incense crafted ethically and mindfully. We ensure clean sourcing and create a positive, value-based work environment.
What is dhoop and how is it different from incense sticks?
Dhoop is a denser, often stickless incense traditionally used in Indian temples. It produces a richer, longer-lasting fragrance and thicker smoke than thin bamboo-cored agarbatti, making it ideal for rituals and larger spaces.
How do I use dhoop sticks?
Light the tip, let it catch for a few seconds, then gently blow out the flame so it smoulders and releases fragrant smoke. Place it on a heat-proof dhoop holder or ash catcher in a ventilated space.
What are the benefits of natural dhoop?
Natural dhoop is used to create a calm, sacred atmosphere for meditation and pooja, to cleanse and freshen a space, and to mark moments of devotion — all without the synthetic chemicals found in many mass-market products.
How long does a dhoop stick burn?
Burn time varies by size and blend, but most dhoop sticks burn steadily for around 20–30 minutes. A little goes a long way thanks to their dense, fragrant smoke.
Is your dhoop free from synthetic chemicals?
Yes. Our dhoop is hand-made from natural herbs, resins and botanicals, without synthetic fragrance or harmful additives — keeping the smoke cleaner and the aroma authentic.
